We lack finances and Fiji Football has to step in to help us, says Tavua Football Association.
Secretary Mohammed Ishaq says there is no use hiding the obvious.
Tavua was not able to get their players and organise transport in time for the game against Nadroga on Sunday.
Ishaq says they have also asked Fiji FA to look into how 14 of their players were transferred without having the approval of the executives of Tavua.
“We had 14 players transfers approved and we only got to know about it after the approval of Fiji FA. After Rizwan was suspended we have had not much finances.”
Fiji Football CEO Bob Kumar says they will make a decision after sighting the match report.
