Strong start for Suva, Nadroga

Suva, Nadroga and Kadavu are the teams to beat so far at the Milo Kaji Rugby tournament in Nadi.
These districts have been winning most of their grades on Day One of competition while Nasinu is catching up.
In the Under 9 grade so far – Nasinu defeated Ba 9-nil.
The U10s – Cakaudrove drew 7-all with Ba, Northland beat Tavua 21-nil, Naitasiri South lost by default to Tailevu and Nadi and Northland drew nil-all.
In the Under 11 grade, Nadi beat Serua 12-5, Ra drew nil-all with Ba, Nadroga beat Cakaudrove 14-nil, Naitasiri South beat Yasawa 7-nil, Macuata upset Rewa 14-nil, Nasinu beat Tavua/Vatukoula 14-nil, Lami and Northland drew nil-all and Tailevu beat Ovalau 14-7.
Suva remains strong in the U12 grade – beating Tavua/Vatukoula 26-7, Yasawa beat Serua 7-5, Ra and Naitasiri South drew 14-all, Tailevu beat Baulevu 21-7, Nadi and Northland drew 7-all, Cakaudrove beat Rewa 14-nil, Nasinu beat Nadroga 14-nil and Kadavu and Lautoka drew 7-all.
The final day of the Milo Kaji rugby tournament is on Wednesday.

Under 9s – Suva 43 Rewa 0, Tavua/Vatukoula 0 Ra 5, Cakaudrove 12 Lautoka 0, Tailevu 5 Nasinu 0, Northland 7 Yasawa 7, Lami 19 Highlanders 0 and Kadavu 12 Serua 0.
Under 10s – Cakaudrove 7 Naitasiri South 0, Suva 14 Lami 0, Macuata 0 Lautoka 7 and the Highlanders 7 Tailevu 7.
Under 12s Taveuni 12 Highlanders 7.
