Fiji Legends defeated Classic Wallabies 54-19 in a historic match played at Suva’s ANZ Stadium today.

Tries to Mosese Luveitasau and David Batiratu saw Fiji leading 14-12 at half-time as Morgan Turinui and Mark Chisolm scored for the visitors.

William Ryder and Sireli Bobo touched down twice, while Manoa Satala and Waisale Serevi added a try each in the second half for a comfortable win.

Chisolm grabbed his second and his team’s only try in the second spell.

Serevi, who led the Fijian side says, it was an honor to play in front of the home fans.

“I would like to thank the Australian government and the Fiji Rugby Union for facilitating this. The boys have done a lot for the country on the rugby field and they really enjoyed today. It may have been for a few minutes but it was great honor.”

Meanwhile, at 5pm Fiji Airways Drua takes on Perth Spirit at 5pm at Suva’s ANZ Stadium in the National Rugby Championship and you can catch a live commentary of the match on Radio Fiji One.
