Hosts Lautoka will play Battle of the Giants and Fiji FACT champions Rewa in the first semi-final of the Courts Inter District Championship at Churchill Park tomorrow.

Both teams had to until for their final pool games last night before confirming their spots in today’s semi-finals.

The Blues started the tournament as favorites but had to rely on this Zibraz Sahib penalty to secure their spot in the last four.

Sahib knows beating the Delta Tigers won’t be easy, but he knows his squad has the depth to do it.

“It won’t be easy for us as we all know Rewa has already won two tournaments but we will give them a good run and I hope we do well”.

Rewa will play in its third semi-final in as many tournaments but the reds left it late to secure a draw against Labasa.

Stopper and skipper Simione Tamanisau knows too well how hard the knockout stages will get.

“This is a do or die stage and we can’t afford to lose and I know the coaches will look at our previous games and we will work on our mistakes.”

Meanwhile, the semi-finals of the Courts Inter District Championship at Churchill Park tomorrow, Lautoka plays Rewa at 3pm while at 5pm, Ba battles Suva.

You can catch the live commentaries of both matches n Radio Fiji Two with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
