AFL Vanuatu Volcanoes is back in Fiji since 2014

For the first time since 2014, AFL Vanuatu Volcanoes is excited to be here in the country and be part of the 2017 Oceania Cup.
Coach Kilip Andrews says despite facing challenges in getting the team here the visitors managed to overcome all odds.
“We had a lot of trouble in our passports and couple of our boys travelled here with antennary passport because the passport machine back at home and they got some problem in their office and I have problems with the boys trying to chase them since them far away from where we training.”
Competing at the Lightning Cup today, the Vanuatuan side say the competition was an eye opener.
The Vanuatu players were selected from the teams that participated in their schools and senior competition. The side will compete against Fiji and defending champion Nauru tomorrow.
The Oceania Cup kicks off at 9am today at Suva’s Albert Park.
