The St George Illawarra Dragons made a wining start in the opening round of the NRL beating Broncos 34-12 last night.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ben Hunt returned to haunt his former club and set up a first-half try for Tyson Frizell before scoring off an intercept shortly after the break.
The Dragons led 10-2 at half time.
Hunt who was named the man of the match says he is overwhelmed to win against his former club.
“Feels great mate and it feels good to be in a new team and playing against your old club and get to win felt pretty good. So I think we have a long way to go and each week we trying to get better and better and it’s always good to get your first win.”
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs will face the Storm at 10.05pm tomorrow and you can watch it live on FBC TV.
There will also be a delayed overage of the Cowboys-Sharks match at 8.30pm tomorrow.
