The Samurai Barracudas rugby team will use the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament as part of its final trials for the upcoming Hong Kong tens tournament next month.
Coach Sailosi Naiteqe says players will have to be on par if they want to be part of this international tournament.
“Mostly in this Marist 7s I will select a team for Hong Kong tens on the April 4th and 6th that’s why my Samurai Barracudas boys will give their best. It’s also a trial game for them to show their talent and also to join few names I’ve recruit after Brisbane tens.”
Naiteqe adds selected players will not only be from the Samurai team but from other teams which will compete in the tournament.
Meanwhile, 64 men’s and 12 women’s will be part of the Marist 7s on the 23rd and 24th of this month.
