Rokoura to lead Fiji Pearls for Commonwealth Games

Netball Fiji’s veteran player Lusiani Rokoura will captain the Pearls side in the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

Rokoura who last played for the side in the 2015 World Cup in Australia is back into the fold with a lot of responsibilities.

The Fiji Pearls defender begun her netball career in 2007.

Rokoura is expected to be assisted by players like Alisi Paul and Nina Cirikisuva who have been regularly playing for the national team.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Jamaica, South Africa, Barbados and North Ireland.

The side opens its campaign against Jamaica on the 5th of April.
