Fiji on its way to claim rare double Olympic and Commonwealth gold medals

The Fiji 7s team has qualified for its third Commonwealth Games final after defeating South Africa 24-19 in a nail-biting semi-final in Gold Coast, Australia.
The side led 12-nil at the half time mark with the tries coming in from Eroni Sau and Jerry Tuwai.
Sevuloni Mocenacagi got Fiji’s only try in the second spell before South Africa scored three quick tries to level the game 19-all and forcing the game to go into the extra time.
Hong Kong 7s player of the final, Amenoni Nasilasila was again the hero, handing Fiji the victory over reigning champions.
The Gareth Baber side plays New Zealand in the final, which will be their third straight meet.
New Zealand beat Fiji 21-12 in the 1998 games in Kuala Lumpur, they were defeated 33-15 in the 2002 games in Manchester, England.
Fiji has won 2 silver and a bronze medal in the history of the games.
