The Kadavu Provincial Secondary School has received a major boost ahead of the Coca Cola Games.
Digicel staff delivered food supplies to the athletics team at their camp in Nabua today.
Digicel Chief Executive Officer, Michael Greg says it’s a privilege to be able to support the young athletes from Kadavu.
“We are excited to be able to support the young athletes from Kadavu. We know that your island was badly affected by the recent TC Keni and most families are still trying to recover after their homes were damaged on the island. It shows great courage and pride to see these young athletes sail to Suva and ready to be part of the games. I am certain that their participation and performance from this Thursday to Saturday will inspire all the people who have been affected by TC Keni across the country. I would like to wish you all the best, go out there and do your best and represent your beautiful island proudly.”
14 athletes will represent the school in the games which begins on Thursday.
You can watch the Coca-Cola Games live on FBC TV from Thursday.
