Flying Fijians defend PNC title

The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians have defended the Pacific Nations Cup after beating Georgia 37-15 at ANZ Stadium in Suva today.
Fiji trailed 15-10 at the halftime mark.
Henry Seniloli scored two tries for the side in the first half while the Georgians also managed to cross twice with a penalty.
The Flying Fijians were a changed side in the second spell as they ran in four unanswered tries to win the match.
Frank Lomani scored two tries while Semi Radradra and Jale Vatubua managed to get a try each in the second half.
Flying Fijians captain Akapusi Qera says they played like a team and thanked the fans for the support.
“We want to thank the almighty god in-order to through in this match. We know without him we would not have achieved what we have today. I just want to thank everyone, the players and their families for the continuous support.”
In a match earlier Tonga beat Samoa 28-18 at Laucala Bay.
The Flying Fijians take on Tonga in its last P-N-C match at 3.30pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
