Baseball players return from World seminar

Five young Fijian baseball players have just returned from a seminar at the World Children’s Baseball Fair in Japan where they learned more on the sport and its global reach.
Fiji rep Logavatu Tavo says being part of the initiative is a positive indication of the success of its outreach programs.
“It’s a very good opportunity for us and the development of our players and we went there and saw how big the sport is in other countries.”
Tavo adds they will continue to targeting the game at the grass-root level in nurturing our youngsters to choose baseball.
The World Children’s Baseball Fair seminar was introduced to promote baseball throughout the world.
